Frequently asked questions
Can it find faces automatically?
In browsers that support it (mostly Chrome on Android and desktop), the Find faces button marks them for you. Otherwise drag a box over each face.
Can the blur be undone?
No. The blurred area is changed in the saved image, so the original detail is gone from that file. Keep your original photo safe.
Blur or pixelate?
Pixelate hides detail more strongly. Use a higher strength on small faces and plates.
Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. This tool runs in your browser, so your file stays on your device and is never sent to a server.
