How to blur faces and number plates in a photo

Before you post a photo of a street, a crowd or a car for sale, you may want to hide faces and number plates.

Steps

• Open Blur Face and add your photo.
• Drag over each face or plate. In some browsers, Find faces marks faces for you.
• Choose Blur or Pixelate and the strength, then check the preview.
• Download the blurred picture.

Tips

• Pixelate hides detail more strongly than blur. Use a high strength on small plates.
• Blurred areas are changed in the saved file, so the detail cannot be brought back from it.
• Keep your original photo in a safe place in case you need it.
