How to make a GST invoice for free, with CGST, SGST and IGST

A GST invoice lists what you sold, the tax charged on it and the total. You can make one as a PDF without any software.

Steps

• Open Invoice Generator and enter your business name, address and GSTIN, and the customer's details.
• Add each item with its quantity, rate and GST rate.
• Tick Different state if the customer is in another state. Then the tax shows as IGST.
• Check the totals, then download the PDF.

CGST, SGST or IGST?

• Selling within one state: the GST is split equally into CGST and SGST.
• Selling to another state: the whole GST is charged as IGST.

Good to know

• The total is rounded to a whole rupee, and the round off is shown.
• This tool does not give tax advice. Check your invoice details against the GST rules that apply to you.
